Our environmental impact

Our free range eggs are produced with a very watchful eye on the environment.

By planting thousands of trees at Glenpark, Ti Kouka and Hillgrove, we have made a positive impact on our carbon footprint – and will continue to do so as the trees grow in size and as our extensive planting programme continues.

We also look to environmental sustainability beyond the farms. The majority of feed is grown locally where possible, using hen manure from the farms to increase soil fertility. Local sourcing also helps reduce transport impacts. Our cartons are made from 100% recycled and bio-degradable materials.

Our commitment to the environment also includes the hens’ animal health. We aim to keep our flocks free from disease by managing our farms diligently and having well informed bio-security practices.
