Meringue Recipe
Ingredients:
Makes 24 meringues
- ½ cup WOODLAND Free Range Egg Whites
- 1 cup caster sugar
Instructions:
- Measure ½ cup Egg Whites and set aside to come to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 150°C fan bake. Line 2 large trays with baking paper.
- In a mixer, beat Egg Whites to form soft peaks.
- While the mixer is still mixing, gradually add sugar a spoonful at a time.
- Beat until quite firm and stiff peaks have formed.
- Using a spoon and spatula, dollop heaped spoonfuls of the mixture onto the trays until all the mixture has been used.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Leave to cool in oven with the door ajar. Serve with whipped cream.
