Woodland and Wearable Arts

Recently Woodland sponsored Pak N’ Save Taupo's wearable art competition, raising $12,000 for Taupo Hospice.

Designer & teacher Ashley Wells put together this awesome costume, modelled by Samantha, a Hillcrest high school student. Using Woodland cartons, they constructed close to 500 “roses” for the bottom section, whilst the bodice was formed from Woodland carton papier-mâché. It was certainly an innovative use of Woodland packaging!

If you have any interesting ideas for using Woodland products to raise money, we'd love to hear from you! Feel free to contact us via the website.
